Hero MotoCorp Reveal Their Future Product Offerings
Hero MotoCorp is among the leading manufacturers and sellers of two-wheelers in India. Since its split with Honda, the manufacturer has set out to re-establish itself in the market. The Indian manufacturer had earlier in the year showcased a wide range of products at the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi.
The Indian manufacturer has current tie ups with American based two wheeler Erik Buell Racing. EBR is popular for producing street as well as race specific motorcycles. The company was founded in 2009 by Erik Buell. They currently race in WSBK Championship as Team Hero EBR and are developing their bike at a steady pace.
Hero MotoCorp wants to enter the premium segment by introducing the Hastur. It is a naked street bike and sports a 620cc parallel twin engine. The motorcycle has been developed in collaboration with EBR and will produce 79 horsepower. It will compete against the likes of the Kawasaki ER6-F and KTM Duke 690, which will be launched soon.
