Hero MotoCorp Eyeing Cristiano Ronaldo & James Rodriguez After Woods
Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, after signing up golf legend Tiger Woods for a whopping INR 250 crore as brand ambassador, is now eyeing for more celebrities.
The company, now has its eyes on football players, Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez.
As the company is expanding into new markets like South America and Europe, Rodriguez will have an upper hand with promotion because Tiger Woods may not have much traction in South America.
A statement from the company said, "As we expand our global footprint, we will have a combination of global and local icons as our brand ambassadors as part of our brand-building initiative. However, currently there is no particular name which is under discussion. This is, therefore, speculative information."
Pawan Munjal, at the throne of Hero MotoCorp is looking to establish the company in multiple locations around the world like Central and Latin America.
The company is looking for ways to set up manufacturing facilities for motorcycles in Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.
Hero MotoCorp has already started selling six motorcycles in Colombia with 120 dealer outlets.
