Hero MotoCorp Launches Its Passion Pro TR On Website
Hero MotoCorp had showcased several products at this years 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi. Among their various reveals was its popular Passion range with the Passion Pro TR, a motorcycle that is based on the Passion Pro by the Indian manufacturer.
The Passion Pro TR is an off-road take on the standard motorcycle it currently offers in India. The bike sports off-road tyres, high front fender, skid plate to protect the engine, knuckle protectors, knee pads and a grill for the headlight. The bike also sports disc brakes fro the front wheel and has a slight off-road stance.
Hero MotoCorp have provided the Passion Pro TR with a 97.2cc engine. It will produce 8.04 Nm of peak torque along with a maximum power of 7.8 bhp. The frugal engine will be mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The bike will offer front disc brake and rear drum brake combination as standard.

The Passion Pro TR by Hero MotoCorp will sport all new body decals. It will also get black alloy wheels and exhaust cover. The Indian manufacturer, who recently step foot in COlombia, has not altered the basic design of its Passion motorcycle. They will continue using the same bike with a few additional parts that make it look like an off-road motorcycle.
The Passion Pro TR is targeted towards buyers from rural areas, who want more styling from the motorcycles they purchase. However, the bike should also be functional and not delicate. The motorcycle has the same attributes of the original Passion Pro with added off-road functionality.
Hero MotoCorp has not revealed prices and have gone ahead with a silent launch revealing only details and specifications of the vehicle. We expect their new off-road model to be slightly more expensive than the standard Passion Pro. The bike will be available in showrooms soon.
