Bajaj Auto Report Dwindling Sales In October, 2014
Bajaj Auto has recently launched several new products and refreshed a few of their existing offerings. They currently own a sizeable share in Austrian automobile manufacturer KTM.
Bajaj recently launched all-new Discover 150 F and S models. KTM too launched their highly anticipated products in India, the RC 200 and RC 390. They have priced their motorcycles aggressively. The Indian manufacturer is expected to launch its 200 SS soon.
As of now, the Indian manufacturer has reported their sales of October, 2014 and thing do not seem good. The Indian manufacturer is down on sales by 3.27 percent. During October, 2013 they sold 3,48,323 vehicles, however, in October, 2014 they have only managed to sell 3,36,923 vehicles.
The positive is that Bajaj Auto have reported an increase in exports. In October, 2014 they exported 1,58,547 vehicles, while in October, 2013 the Indian manufacturer exported 1,38,022 vehicles. This is a leap of 14.87 percent, which is a very decent growth figure.
Bajaj Auto also manufactures commercial vehicles. They have reported sales of 49,094 vehicles in October, 2014. During the same month in 2013 the Indian manufacturer sold only 37,000 vehicles. This again is a gain of 32.68 percent, which are impressive numbers.
Overall Bajaj Auto's total sales in October, 2013 was 3,85,323 units, however, sales in October, 2014 have risen a bit by 3,86,017. This is an increase of 0.18 percent, which is a gain nonetheless.
