Triumph Motorcycles In India: Price Of 10 Models On Offer

Written by:

Triumph Motorcycles has officially arrived in India, with the launch of a total 10 new models. That's right, the British motorcycle maker has brought almost its entire lineup, but only 6 of these will be assembled locally, while the remaining four will arrive through the Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) route.

While Triumph's has entered in a big way, the bigger question still remains to be answered. And that's how big an impact will the company be able to make in India. You see, Triumph has not managed to offer its motorcycles at aggressively competitive prices as we expected.

The least expensive Triumph is the Bonneville and it costs INR 5.7 lakhs and then it goes all the way up to INR 20 lakhs for the massive Rocket III Roadster, which will be imported. Triumph will only offer the smaller Daytona here, but even that will cost INR 11.4 lakhs. Besides the entry level Bonneville, the only other bike that could become popular among Indian buyers could be Triumph Street Triple 675 which comes for a relatively affordable INR 7.5 lakhs.
