Indian Motorcycles: Indian Big Chief With Genuine Indian Accessories
Following its revival under Polaris Industries, with the launch of three new models, powered by the new Thunderstroke engine, Indian Motorcycles recently unveiled its first custom motorcycle based on a 2014 model model.
Displayed for the first time at the New York City International Motorcycle Show, the custom model called the Indian Big Chief Custom is based on a 2014 Chief Classic.

The Indian Big Chief, however, is not a production model. Instead, it's a one-off that solely been built to showcase the customization possibilities offered by the brand's Genuine Indian Accessories.
Helping build the Indian Big Chief was Polaris' Industrial Design head, Greg Brew. As you can notice from the images, this custom built motorcycle revisits the brand's initial days.
Hence, it features classic design and functional elements such as the billet girder front fork with single spring linkage system, custom valance fender and even a spring seat. Indian Big Chief sports 23 inch spoked wheels and features a custom black and red coloured paint that's also inspired by older generation Indian Motorcycles.
Part of the "Pinnacle Series", a few other parts from Genuine Indian Accessories catalog that's been used in the Indian Big Chief include cam cover, primary cover, chrome grips, beach bars and a Stage 1 exhaust with fishtail tips Other custom accessories include War Bonnet Floorboard Pads, a Heel Shifter and chrome Rear Fender Bumper.
Indian Big Chief will be displayed by the company at every event it takes part in during 2014. Indian Motorcycle is set to enter India on January 22, 2014. The company is expected to launch its entire lineup in India, which includes three models.
