Hyosung GV250 Cruiser Headed To India
Following the success of the GV650 cruiser bike South Korean motorcycle manufacturer Hyosung and its Indian partner DSK Motorwheels have decided to introduce the quarter liter model, GV250 for Indian motorcycle enthusiasts.
Hyosung GV650 was introduced following tie up with local partner DSK about an year back. The GV650 has been met with enthusiasm by the biker crowd in the country. Evident by the fact that within 10 months of its launch 1,260 GV650s are out on Indian roads. Being a sub 800cc bike the GV650 and the upcoming GV250 will not attract additional excise duty.
Hyosung
GV250,
which
will
be
locally
assembled,
could
hit
dealerships
here
as
soon
as
end
of
the
year,
if
not
early
next
year.
The
GV250
is
powered
by
a
28
HP,
oil
cooled
V-Twin
engine
mated
to
a
5
speed
gearbox.
Expected
price
is
INR
2.5
lakhs
or
more.
