Bajaj Discover 125T Launched; Price Rs 52,500
Bajaj tries to regain some of its lost ground in the commuter bike segment with the launch of Discover 125T, taking the Discover family count up to five. The Discover currently includes Discover 100, 100T, 125, 125T and 125 ST, with Discover 150 having been discontinued.

since
its
announcement
earlier
this
year
about
its
plan
to
introduce
four
to
five
new
Discover
models
this
year.
Discover
125T
is
priced
at
Rs
52,500
for
the
base
model
(ex-showroom,
Delhi).
Discover 125T has the same engine that powers the Discover 125ST, albeit in a lower state of tune. The 125cc four stroke engine offers 12.5 PS power and 10.8 Nm torque. In comparison, the 125ST offers 13 PS. The gearbox is the standard five speed manual
Bajaj's twin spark DTS-i tech means the 125T delivers a mileage of 77 kmpl (CMVR certified). Top speed is 105 km/h.
Discover 125T and 125ST majorly differ from each other when it comes to the rear suspension. While the top of the line 125ST has gas mono shock, the new 125T gets conventional gas dual shocks.
The base model with alloy wheels, self start and 130mm drum brakes costs Rs 52,500. You can get the front drum replaced with 200 mm petal disc brakes. This variant will take the cost up to Rs. 55,500.
