Bajaj Discover 100M Launch Price Of Rs 46,000; Mileage & Features
Bajaj is getting good with offering bikes that deliver good fuel economy while still maintaining decent performance figures. The new Discover 100M offers testimonial to that.
The new Bajaj Discover 100M, launched on October 15th, is being offered for a starting price of Rs 46,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). An added 200mm front petal disc brake will add Rs 3,000 to the base price.

Discover 100M is powered by a detuned version of Bajaj's 4 valve 102cc DTS-i engine capable of delivering 9.3PS power and 9.02 Nm torque. The commuter bike has a claimed top speed of 95 km/h.
Discover 100M has a CMVR certified mileage figure of 84 kmpl. Bajaj claims the bike will be able to deliver a real world mileage of 70-75 km/l.
Discover 100M has been placed above Discover 100 and below Discover 100T. As a result the power delivered is slightly less than the Discover 100T. A major difference is the use of a 4 speed transmission in the Discover 100M in place of the standard 5-speed unit seen in the Discover 100T.
Another thing to note is that the new Discover has been built on a new platform which gives it a wheelbase of 1,255mm as against 1,305mm on other Discover models.
The new bike will be available in the following five colour schemes: Flame Red, Brilliant Blue, Midnight Black (Red decals), Midnight Black (Blue decals) and Midnight Black (Olive Decals)
The Bajaj Discover commuter bike range now consists of the 100, 100M, 100T, 125, 125ST and 125T. A new more powerful Discover is expected to launch in the next few days.
