2013 Hero MotoCorp Karizma ZMR Makes An Appearance In Macau
The 2013 Karizma ZMR has shown its face for the first time. Hero MotoCorp's flagship motorcycle which has been spotted before in disguise during testing was revealed by company Managing Director, Pawan Munjal recently in Macau at the Hero Global Sales and Marketing Conference.
The facelifted Karizma ZMR looks like it has received a through makeover. Changes that can be noticed from the image include a brand new fairing, a new set of headlights and split seats. The exhaust system also looks different. Unfortunately, the bike still seems to be missing mono shocks at the rear. A feature that is a standard on most 200cc bikes and above. Visual changes aside, the more significant changes are expected to appear underneath the front cowl.
Remember that Hero MotoCorp now holds a major stake in America's Erik Buell Racing and has also tapped into the resources of various global technology partners including Britain's Ricardo, Italy's Engines Engineering and AVL Austria.
As a result, the 2013 Karizma ZMR will come with a revamped engine that will deliver significantly improved performance over its predecessor. As to what exactly these upgrades are we'll have to wait and see. We may not have to wait long to have answers delivered as the bike maker is likely to launch the flagship model during the upcoming festive season.
