It appears that Bollywood's leading ladies are also the faces of most of India's leading scooter manufacturers. Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra are some of the names that are in this list. The latest one to join this coveted list is model turned actress Deepika Padukone who has been signed by Yamaha at the brand ambassador of Yamaha scooters in India.
Yamaha which will soon enter the scooter segment in India by launching the Ray. The Yamaha Ray has been described as sporty and stylish and Yamaha has stated that the Deepika's sporty and feminine disposition will be suitable for its scooter and will laso help it reach its target audience.
Yamaha has stated that the Ray will be targeted at female customers aged under 24 years. Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in Yamaha Scooter commercials and will also make appearances for the two wheeler manufacturer. Yamaha has stated that Deepika's presence will provide the visual connection with its buyers.
India Yamaha Motor in its press release has stated: "Deepika Padukone appeals to the Indian youth both through her movies and her off screen appearances. Her stature in the film industry goes well with Yamaha's current positioning in the two-wheeler industry."

Yamaha went on to add that John Abraham will continue to be its brand ambassador for its motorcycles.
Yamaha will continue with its YES! YAMAHA campaign which was introduced a couple of years ago. As part of the YES! YAMAHA campaign, many initiatives have been launched including ‘Bring back the Joy' campaign, ‘Chabi Ghumao, Bike Le jao' contest (Turn the key, win a bike contest) to name a few.
