Honda has introduced the 2012 CRF 250L in Japan recently. But, What makes the CRF 250L interesting to Indian motorcycle enthusiasts is its high fuel economy and practicality. the fact that CRF 250L uses the same engine of the CBR 250R.
The CRF 250L which uses the same engine of the CBR 250R is an on-off road offering from Honda. The CRF 250L will be a fine option for people who are looking for a dual purpose vehicle which is not an extreme off-road bike. The CRF 250L comes with a tweaked 250cc, liquid cooled DOHC engine that produces a peak power output of 22 Bhp and a healthy 22 Nm torque. The liquid cooled engine of of he CRF 250L will be a right choice for on and off roading.
Earlier, Hero Motocorp had launched the Impulse on-off road motorcycle, first of its kind in the Indian market. However, the Impulse couldn't live up to the expectations of the company. Though there has been no official announcement from Honda regarding the CRF 250L, it is expected that the bike would cost around Rs 1.5 lakh if launched in India.
