The automatic scooter segment that has seen an upswing in the past decade is all set to welcome a new scooter as Suzuki prepares to launch one in the forthcoming Delhi Auto Expo. Suzuki which currently sells the Access 125 scooter wants to add another model to its line-up to meet increased demand.

Suzuki has only said it wants to launch a new scooter but has not specified on the technicalities of the new model. The company is struggling to meet the high demand for the Access and it remains to be seen how it will cope with two scooters in its line-up.
Atul Gupta, VP (marketing & sales) at Suzuki Motorcycles India while speaking about its plans said: “We cannot cope with the demand with our single scooter offering, Access 125. So we plan to come out with a second model, which will be launched during the upcoming Auto Expo."
