Video: Van Schools Ferrari And Tesla On A Drag Strip
oi-Dennis James
What happens when you get a white van and line it up against a Tesla and a Ferrari on a drag strip, you can't expect it to win, not unless you're part of the trio known as Clarkson, Hammond, and May (One Word: Cheat).
It would seem that van driving racers also had an ace up their sleeve in the form of a rather powerful powertrain. The van (called Edna, no we didn't name it) doesn't have an internal combustion engine but instead makes use of two electric motors and two gearboxes which transmit over 900hp to the wheels.
Still think that final result was a fluke?
