Yamaha Signed By Valentino Rossi To Be Auctioned
A Yamaha YZF-R1 signed by MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi is up for auction to raise money for charity. The Yamaha R1 will be a road going version, but in the Yamaha factory MotoGP livery.
The motorcycle will bear Rossi's signature on the front fairing and will also sport the famous #46.
Money made from the auction will go to La Gotita Onlus, an Italian charity, which supports the need of children's educational, social and economic development.
CharityStars, which is hosting the auction in a statement said:
"No auction of this type has ever been offered before, making this a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
"With charitable projects being very close to the hearts of both Rossi and Yamaha, this is the perfect opportunity to own a piece of two-wheeled history, benefitting children in desperate need of help."
"The generosity of Rossi and Yamaha has been hugely appreciated in making this bike available."
The auction is to close on 18th September.
