Truck Carrying New Porsche Prototypes Crashes
A truck carrying Porsche prototypes has crashed, wrecking all the cars inside. The exact reason is unknown, but nobody was injured.
New car prototypes are often seen in camouflage, away from prying eyes of motoring journalists in particular. Seldom are such cars seen on the back of a truck, and rarely do trucks carrying such cars are seen wrecked on the side of the road.
CarBuzz has managed to snap pictures of a truck, filled with Porsches that had crashed on the side of the road. This particular crashed truck had Porsches, that were not for the dealership, stock yard, customer use, or even to be seen by public.
Amongst the cars in the truck, two were prototypes, and one of them was the new Porsche 992 911. Both cars, along with the trailer carrying the cars was totally wrecked in a crash. The reason for the crash could be due to wind, so severe that it managed to topple the trailer.
The good news is, neither the truck driver, nor other motorists on the road were injured. The only problem with the crash could be to the Porsche design team, and we really hope they have more cars lying around.
The incident is quite discomforting, but perhaps images of the Porsche 718 Cayman pictured below could help.
