The Stig Sets A World Record In A Bumper Car — Just How Fast Did He Go?
Top Gear's man in the white overalls, the Stig has set the world record for the fastest bumper car.
Top Gear's silent racing driver, the Stig is known for going across racing tracks at insane speeds in some of the craziest cars on the planet.
Now the white overall wearing speed maniac has gone and claimed a Guinness world record for the world's fastest bumper car.
The Stig took one of those cars you use to smash into your friends at amusement parks and achieved an average speed of 100.336mph (161.475km/h) and a top speed of 107.390mph (172.827km/h).
However, the bumper car he was driving was no ordinary bumper car. The Stig's manic bumper car was the work of youtube sensation Colin Furze who is known for creating the craziest possible motorised machines on the planet including the world's fastest baby stroller.
Furze's creation uses a 600cc engine from a Honda motorcycle that makes 100bhp. The bumper car sports three wheels along with a bespoke chassis and steering setup.
