Daredevil Thieves In A Stolen Audi, Carjack A BMW
In a rather audacious or should that be 'Audi-cious' case of carjacking, two thieves in a stolen Audi drove into a gated residential area in Noida and drove off with a two-month-old BMW.
The carjacking, which took place in Noida's Sector 17A last week in the early hours of the day, when the gates of the houses are kept open so that the car washers and the maids can enter the homes.
The two thieves brazenly entered Sector 17A's posh gated community in a stolen black Audi A7 at 6:59 a.m on July 15, without being challenged by the guards.
One of the thieves got out of the Audi and casually walked into a house, but returned outside quickly after being accosted by the domestic help.
They then drove to another house where they stole a laptop before entering the house numbered A-37 which belongs to Mr. Ritesh Rupramka. The thieves filched the keys to Rupkarma's BMW from his table and then drove off in it.
"The thief walked in as the main door was open and took the keys lying on the table and took my BMW which was just two months old. We were alerted when my mother returned from her walk around 8 a.m., which is when we called the police." Rupramka told the Times Of India.
Unfortunately for the family, the thieves had exited Sector 17A unchallenged through two different gates by 7:16 a.m., 17 minutes after entering the complex.
