Elon Musk To The Rescue: Tesla Will Fix Heroic Driver's Crashed Model S For Free
Elon Musk tweets have revealed that heroic driver who crashed his Model S to save the life of another driver will not have to worry about the big repair bill.
The heroic driver of a Tesla Model S who crashed his car to save another driver's life can now breathe a little easier with regards to the repair bills thanks to a set of tweets from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The driver had deliberately got in the way of out-of-control Volkswagen Passat on an autobahn near the German city of Munich after noticing that the VW driver was unconscious behind the wheel of his car.
According to the German police, the total cost of repairing the two vehicles would come to €10,000 (Rs 706,300) which was causing some worry to the Model S driver who Sueddeutsche Zeitung identified as Manfred Kick.
Thankfully for Kick, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla got to know about the accident and tweeted out that his car company would carry out the repairs of the damaged Model S free of charge. Musk also stated that the repair work would be expedited as well.
Kick, who also provided first aid to the unconscious victim is also under investigation by the German police regarding the incident; however, the cops plant to reward him rather than issue a reprimand.
