Tata Nexon SUV Spied Testing In Full Camouflage - Pictures
Tata's upcoming compact SUV based on the Nexon Concept and codenamed the Osprey has been spotted testing in Maharashtra.
The Nexon Concept was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo and the camouflaged SUV features some of the Nexon's design cues including the the sloping bonnet up front and the rear windows.
The test mule does look a bit like an estate car from the rear, though that could be the camo at work. The mule has a set of spotlights on it which does bring back memories of pop-up headlamps, but they do seem to be a temporary fit.
Inside, the Nexon seems to have oodles of space which is what we've come to expect from the Tata stable.
Under the hood, the Nexon is expected to use the same petrol engine found in the Zica hatchback while the diesel unit is expected to be an all-new turbocharged 1.5-litre unit.
