Suzuki Swift Gets Smashed By A Road Train And The Results Aren't Pretty

Written By:

Getting into an accident with a truck isn't really what we would wish on our worst enemies especially if the truck in question is a large road train. Unfortunately for the elderly driver of a Suzuki Swift in Australia, a moment of madness in front of a passing road train sent her to the hospital badly injured.

How the driver of the Swift missed the bright yellow front end of the massive truck as it entered the intersection is something still leaving us scratching our heads.

Unfortunately for the driver, the 76-year old lady's crazy caper across the intersection lead to a rather sickening crash that left the driver's side of the Swift squashed.

The crash could have been worse if the road train driver had not slowed down as he approached the intersection but it still left the old lady with a long list of injuries including a fractured skull, broken ribs, pelvis and right shoulder.

Thankfully, the driver is recovering now after first responders airlifted her to the hospital.

The driver of the road train though was left quite incensed by the incident which is the reason for the rather heated nature of the video.
