Sebastien Loeb Conquers Pikes Peak

The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is a national event held in the Rocky Mountains in the USA. Today we bring to you the record winning run by French driver Sebastien Loeb in his highly modified Peugeot.

The French driver conquered the 20 kilometre-long course of Pikes Peak at an average speed 145 km/h. Sebastien Loeb broke the fastest run up the hill with his 8 minutes 13.878 second timing in a Peugeot 2018 modified for the event. The previous record was set Rhys Millen in 2012, who completed the hill climb in nine minutes and 46.164 seconds.

This year Isle of Man TT racer Guy Martin will also compete at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The 2014 edition of Pikes Peak will commence on 29th of June, 2014.
