That's right, if you did not know already Sachin's love for cars is only seconded by cricket. The legendary cricketer owns several sports car, some of which he purchased, while others were acquired over the years. He is known to often enjoy driving the fast cars from his collection in Mumbai at night. Take a look at the various cars owned by Sachin over the years.
Maruti 800
Sachin started off humble. Like many first time Indian car buyer Sachin's first car was a Maruti 800 hatchback.
Fiat Palio
The other ‘regular' car that Sachin owned was Fiat Palio which was gifted to him by Fiat when he was the brand's ambassador in India in early 2000s. Fiat had even launched a special edition Palio S10 which had the little master's signature on it.
Opel Astra
Another regular car from Sachin's garage was the Opel Astra sedan which he was presented for his outstanding performance during the 1998 Sharjah tournament.
Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder
The Italian sports car was gifted to Sachin by Fiat (which own Ferrari) in 2002 when he scored his 29th test century, equalling Sir Don Bradman. The 110 percent duty to import the car to India was paid by Fiat as well. Sachin has since sold the Ferrari 360 Modena.
Nissan GT-R
Sachin presently owns a Nissan GT-R which he purchased after selling his Ferrari. The Japanese sports car was imported from Japan in July 2011 and cost INR 2.5 crores. Nissan sent ten technicians from Dubai along with GTR 530 when it delivered the car to Sachin Tendulkar to modify the car to suit the master blaster's preference.
Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG
The six cylinder engine, 276 HP and 284 lb-ft of torque C36 AMG was Sachin first Mercedes car. The other Mercedes he owned was the Mercedes-Benz 600SL roadster.
Porsche Boxster
Sachin loves to drive his Porsche roadster. The Boxster is considered to be an extremely fun machine to drive and is a proud member of Sachin's garage.
BMW 7 Series
Finally, Sachin now happens to be German automaker BMW's brand ambassador in India. The master blaster has promoted several of their cars including the 1 Series and 7 Series saloon. He also owns an incredibly luxurious BMW 7 Series sedan. Seen here during the unveiling of the 2013 BMW 7 Series in India.
