Royal Enfield Leather Jackets Are Made-In-Pakistan; Twitterati Not Happy
Royal Enfield has been importing and selling leather jackets from a manufacturer based in Sialkot Pakistan.
Twitterati is unhappy with a strong disapproval of iconic Royal Enfield's business relations with a Pakistan-based riding gear manufacturer who supplies biker jackets and gloves.
Presumably, Pakistan-based Pilot Sewing Corporation has been providing riding apparels for over four years now, but it is only now that few owners have noticed the label, and decided to set Twitter on fire.
Many people posted images of the manufacturing tags and labels of these imported apparels on the micro-blogging site Twitter expressing their disapproval.

Twitter user Mrityunjay Singh had this to say in his tweet:

Another Twitterati, Vikrant Kumar was shocked to know that RE has been sourcing gears from Pakistan. Here is his tweet:
Royal Enfield started selling biking apparel range in 2013 post the launch of the Continental GT, reports MoneyControl. Apart from selling the riding gears in brand stores, these apparels are now available in Flipkart as well.
Riding apparels, particularly genuine leather jackets and gloves which are priced at Rs 8,500 and Rs 2,500 respectively in India, are inexpensive to make in Pakistan than in India, which is fundamentally the reason why bike makers prefer to purchase them from there.
