Rolls Royce Phantom Enters Abu Dhabi Police Supercar Fleet
The name Rolls Royce is synonymous with exquisite luxury. They have several products which are custom made for their customers. Over the years they have successfully bettered their luxury vehicles, by introducing more tech and luxurious elements in their models.
Dubai police is one of the most popular authorities amongst automobile enthusiasts. They have one of the most extensive supercar line-up for nabbing perpetrators. They have supercars and even certain exotics in their possession.
Now the Abu Dhabi police has also decided to add valuable vehicles to its fleet, beginning with the Rolls Royce Phantom. The luxury vehicle gets an unique paint job consisting of white and burgundy.
It seems to us that Dubai and Abu Dhabi have locked horns in a friendly showdown of their police fleet vehicles. The Dubai police vehicles have a unique paint scheme in the form of white and green. Perhaps it is just simple bragging rights between the two, which makes for an attraction for tourists.
Currently the Dubai Police department seems to be leading in terms of exotic and supercars in their possession. They currently have the Bugatti Veyron, Mercedes SLS AMG, Ferrari FF, Nissan GT-R, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Aston Martin One 77, Audi R8, Bentley Continental, Lexus RC F, Renault Twizy and several Lamborghini's.
The Rolls Royce Phantom is powered by a mammoth 6.8-litre V12 powerhouse. It generates 453 bhp, along with 720 Nm of peak torque output. This luxury vehicle can accelerate from o to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds and it has a top speed of 240 km/h. The vehicle will not be used by the police, it will be used to promote tourism in Abu Dhabi.
