Robbie Maddison Attempts Vertical Drop World Record
Robbie Maddison is considered the modern day ‘Evel Knievel'. He has performed several stunts over the years and has numerous records to his name. The Australian rider recently Jumped onto Arc de Triomphe and then also jumped off it.
He regularly performs in FMX events and Red Bull X fighters. Robbie Maddison's motto is ‘face your fears - live your dreams'. Over the years he has performed and innovated new tricks to win several freestyle events.
Today in our video of the day the Australian attempts a jump distance of 374 feet at a speed of 114 km/h, however, there is a catch. To achieve a new record he is involving a vertical drop of 185 feet as well.
Robbie Maddison was riding his KTM machine and the video has been shot in Park City, Utah on a toboggan run. It ends on the top of a ski jump, this is where the video really begins so be patient and watch the dare devil take off.
