German sports car manufacturer Porsche has claimed that the death of actor Paul Walker in the high speed crash on November 30, 2013 was the actor's own fault.
Porsche Cars North America made the claim in a legal filing seeking to dismiss the ‘wrongful death' case filed against them by Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker. It stated that the Porsche Carrera GT involved in the crash had been "misused and improperly maintained" as well as "abused and altered".
Porsche claim that these failures and alterations contributed to the crash that caused the death of Walker and driver Roger Rodas. They've also stated that the actor was well aware of the risks when he got into the car as he was "a knowledgeable and sophisticated user of the 2005 Carrera GT".
