Porsche 911 GT3 RS models have known for its sheer track performance and the race track is its natural habitat. No one cared about the straight-line performance of the machine until the 991-generation got launched.

The 991 is a proven contender and it is one of the fastest accelerating cars on the market. Now, a video was uploaded to YouTube of the underdog, the 911 GT3 RS ripping the tarmac at a drag strip. It was filmed at a drag racing event in the U.S.

This particular model has been painted in Lamborghini's famous colour, Grigio Telesto. With this colour scheme and the rear wing removed, the car looks absolutely jaw dropping.

The 911 GT3 RS is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine which churns out 500bhp of power and 458Nm of torque. Add to that this Grigio Telesto version has been outfitted with a GMG aftermarket exhaust system, which makes it very loud.
