Man Plays Pokemon Go While Driving; Catches A Tree With His Car
A man playing the popular smartphone game Pokemon Go while driving swerved off the road and hit a tree.
Syracuse.com reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday, Jul 12 when the man who was trying to 'Catch Them All' swerved off the road in the city of Auburn in the state of New York.
Thankfully, the man escaped unhurt but the same could not be said about his car. The crash forced most of the front end of the car into itself leaving behind a rather sorry mess.
It's been a rough week for players of the augmented reality world as they've been robbed , found a dead body and have been waterbombed and egged as well all while trying to catch imaginary pocket monsters using the app.
The Auburn Police department have asked Pokemon Go players to make use of common sense while playing the game and have asked them no to 'Pokemon Go and Drive.'
While the no-nonsense version of the advisory may be to the point, we think that the following tweet from the cops in Richmond, a London suburb, may finally get into the minds of everyone who is playing to Pokemon Go, no matter what their iQ level is.
