Paul Walker’s Crash; Porsche Experts To Investigate The Cause
I grew-up watching Paul Walker (Brian O'Connor) shredding tyres in a Fast & Furious attitude. However, his tragic accident is a shock to many.
Surprisingly, Walker wasn't behind the wheels. Roger Rodas, his business partner and friend was piloting the crashed, 2005 ‘Porsche Carrera GT'.
Rodas, was well acquainted with sports cars. He was a racer by profession and had competed in 10 Pirelli World Challenge GTS races in 2013.
Rodas, 38, and Walker, 40, co-owned an auto racing team named, Always Evolving. Sadly, this evolving partnership has come to an end.
Porsche Steps-in To Investigate This Tragic Loss
The ‘Carrera GT' is considered to be one of the Top Sports Cars of All Time, that was manufactured by Porsche between 2004 - 2007. Now, that raises a Big Question?
Was there any issue with Paul Walker and Rondas' Carrera? or Was it, purely a driver error?
Porsche has sent across a team of experts to aid in the investigation. The Law enforcement officials have managed to recover the black boxes from the car.
The event data recorder (EDR) as the black box is officially called, records the events and actions of the driver seconds before the collision.
The investigators will be analysing Carrera GT's last recorded speed, braking, turning and whether the airbags deployed.
When all is said and done, "I owe you a ten-second car" - R.I.P My brother.
