Nitin Gadkari: 25 Driving Centres Will Be Opened In Jharkhand
“There is a need for two lakh trained drivers in the country and 25 drivers training centres will be opened in Jharkhand.”
The Road Transport and Highways And Shipping Minister, Nitin Gadkari announced that the government will start 25 driving centres in Jharkhand. He said, "I am announcing 25 driving centres," as the state celebrated its 17th Foundation Day.
The Union Minister also added that this plan will provide jobs to the youth in the rural and tribal areas of the state.
It is also confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of Ganga bridge at Sahibganj.
He said, "There is a need for two lakh trained drivers in the country and 25 drivers training centres will be opened in Jharkhand.
"We are planning to open such centres in backwards areas of the country to train youths."
"We are working on waterways, which is the cheapest way of transport. This year we are working on Ganga waterways project and next year Subarnarekha river waterways of Jharkhand project will be taken up. The 26 rivers of the state will be developed as waterways," Gadkari said.
