Nico Rosberg German Helmet Banned In Germany
Everyone by now is aware that Germany clinched the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. They were up against a positive and hungry Argentinian line up. On 20th of July, 2014 is the Formula One race at Hockenheim and Nico Rosberg's home race.

To celebrate and appreciate the German Football teams triumph, Nico Rosberg was supposed to wear a special helmet. The helmet was going to feature the world cup trophy, however, the German driver was asked not to as it would brake copyright rules.

Now he had to go back to the drawing room and come up with something to cover it up. His designers and graphic artist have a done a good job of showing honour and respect to the German football team that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Nico Rosberg’s Special German Helmet
Nico Rosberg's Special helmet for the German GP had to be replaced as it showcased the FIFA World Cup trophy. He has now replaced it with the German flag colours and four stars, signifying the years when Germany won the football World Cup.

The four stars show Germany first won the FIFA World Cup in 1954 and followed by 1974,1990 and 2014. In place of this Nico Rosberg had earlier planned to sport the FIFA World Cup trophy, however, due to trademark issued had to change it.

The helmet sports a gold visor, along with roman numerals six on the side. It is his race number and it is on either side and four times. Even Nico Rosberg is written in the colours of Germany's flag.

The helmet has been repainted and the FIFA trophy has been painted over with a new design. They base of the helmet is carbon fibre and they have maintained the texture and added minute details.

They also did some sticker work on it on the initial test day. Every racer likes to bring a special helmet to their home race and we believe, Nico Rosberg should have been allowed with his prior designed helmet.
