Experience Mountain Drifting Like Never Before — VR Makes Smoking Tyres Look Ultra Cool
360 degree video is a craze that doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. While most everyday things don't burst into life when you add a 360 degree viewing options to them, 360 degree is an insansley brilliant way to view full throttle sports like racing and drifting.
This is especially true in the case of the video above, which was filmed on public mountain roads. And no, there's no need to get the rozzers involved, as the roads were closed off by them.
A 360 degree camera was attached to the back of Irish Drifter Jack Shenahan's Nissan Silvia S13 drift car (powered by a turbocharged RB25 straight-six from a Nissan Skyline) by French filming company ODOXO.
So sit back and get out your VR headset and enjoy the video. And if you don't have a VR set, don't worry as there is enough tyre smoke and brilliant drifting action to keep you entertained.
