Abandoned In Malaysia - Three Rather Large Jumbo Jets
oi-Dennis
By Dennis
Malaysian airport authorities are searching for the owners of three Boeing 747-200F jumbo jets abandoned on Malaysian tarmac.
To expediate the process, the airport authority took out ads in two daily papers — The Star and Sin Chew Daily, requesting the errant owners to come and get their planes and pay the parking fees. If the owners don't turn up in 14 days, the planes will be sold off or otherwise disposed off.
The three cargo planes are currently stranded at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and have been there for more than a year.
