18-Year Old Crashes Lamborghini — Proof That Age Really Isn't Just A Number
The Lamborghini gifted as his 18th birthday gift by his parents probably is not right gift for the age. Fortunately, the driver and his passenger walked away with minor injuries.
A supercar like Lamborghini may appeal to most of us, but it's apparently a good thing that most teenagers can't afford to buy one. Simply because teenagers are not well trained or matured enough to handle a powerful supercar, and could end up like this teen.
According to Carscoops, the tipster who posted this video and shared the photos with them, the young driver was gifted a Lamborghini for his 18th birthday by his parents.
The teenager possibly managed to keep it on the road for the past couple of years without crashing; however, he crashed the supercar this weekend in Malaysia, and the car looks totally wrecked.
The car seems to have skidded off the wet road and flipped into a deep trench. Luckily, the teenager and his passenger "walked away with only minor injuries."
It's hard to tell just which version the Lamborghini Gallardo is in this photos and the video. Lamborghini kept the Gallardo in production for over a decade, giving it a facelift halfway through in 2008. With the wrecked front, it is unclear which version of the Gallardo met with the accident.
It is said that the lower racing stripes are consistent with the Singapore limited edition launched in 2011; however, the rest of the treatment of this supercar is not and is hard to tell which Gallardo version met its fateful end.
Now watch the video of the Lamborghini crashed by the 18-year old teenager.
Regardless of which version it was, the supercar seems to be beyond repair. Most importantly, the passengers are safe. A Lamborghini is a powerful machine and should be handled with precaution, and it is better to test its prowess on a race track than on public roads.
