Not too long back supercars used to get rendered wearing popular motorsport liveries such as Martini Racing and Gulf to get a feel of how good they look. Joining that elite list of popular liveries now is that of the Dubai Police.

In the past couple of years the Dubai Police department has made a name for itself in automobile enthusiasts circles by acquiring a bewildering asset of luxury and supercars worth millions.

The one supercar brand that's missing from the Dubai Police hypercar garage is the Swedish Koenigsegg. It is then only a matter of time that a Koenigsegg joins this fleet and what could be a better addition than the brand new Koenigsegg One:1.

This car is a monster that's powered by twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8 producing 1,340 bhp. What makes it more lethal is the fact that the engine only has to pull 1340 kg of car, including the driver. A perfect power to weight ratio of 1:1 and hence the name.

0-100 km/h is dispatched in 2.8 seconds, 0-300 km/h in a claimed 12 seconds and on to 400 km/h in another 8 seconds. There's only one hiccup. The car costs $2 million and is limited to just 6 units, all of which have been sold.

We believe money should not be a hindrance for the Dubai Police department. Sooner or later one of the six owners will decide to sell his or her One:1 and then it should surely end up patrolling the streets of Dubai.
