Jeremy Clarkson Reveals His Top 10 ‘Terrible Cars’

A couple of weeks back, Jeremy Clarkson had revealed his top 10 'Star Cars' list and said he would follow it up with the worst cars list as well. He has indeed revealed the same calling it 'Stinkers'.

Known for his sarcastic comments and funny jibes on cars, Jeremy Clarkson is a mixed bag of emotions for many. Here are the top 10 terrible cars as per Jeremy Clarkson.

Vauxhall Astra SRi NAV

Jeremy Clarkson goes to say that the Vauxhall Astra SRi is for who needs four wheels and place to sit down when you are moving about. He goes on to say that he has no more to words to say about the car.

Infiniti Q30 Premium Tech

With loads of noise generated by the diesel motor, Clarkson is not happy with the Q30's 2.2-litre engine. There was not grunt from the mill when he tried a simple overtaking maneuver.

He finds it fit for people who do not care about the badging as the car is a ‘tarted up Datsun'. It didn't impress him at all with the diesel engine converting to a sound making-machine, though he is happy with the looks.

Skoda Superb SE L Executive

Finding hard to write about the Skoda Superb in his 20 years of writing, Jeremy Clarkson finds the Superb is a cheap way of buying the Skoda Passat.

He finds the Skoda Superb average and equals its soul to a fridge freezer and summarises that the Skoda Superb is good for mini cabbing; however not for the soul.

Zenos E10 S

Describing what a sports car should do, Jeremy states that it should come with small, revvy engine, two seats, and must little and light. The Zenos has all of them including no doors, no windows, no sun visors, no radio or carpets and no roof of any kind.

First, he is not impressed with the exhaust note, finding it as music to ears only for a minute, post which he finds it barking up his ears.

Most of all the braking didn't impress Clarkson at all and finds the tendency to lock up. He goes on to say "It's a blast... until you look for the brakes".

Renault Kadjar dCi 130 Signature Nav

The first impression of Clarkson of the Kadjar is the name itself, he goes on to state that the name was given after running out of ideas.

As per Clarkson, the Renault Kadjar lacks imagination and does not bring the aura of a poster or a screenshot of a car that you might want to pin to your wall.

BMW X1 xDrive25d

With BMW having the pedigree of German engineering, Clarkson expected the X1 to have the same treatment. Even though he was given the range-topping four-wheel drive BMW X1, he finds it not powerful enough for good speed.

He still finds it better than some of the Chinese made cars and says that it does not crash all the time neither does it explode. He finds his expectation of a BMW is not there on the X1.

Seat Leon X-Perience SE Technology

Jeremy Clarkson has never reviewed a Seat car in his 31 years in the automotive world and goes on to say that it not worth the wait after driving the Leon from Seat.

He finds the mirrors snazzy and that's about it, the remaining that's the metal, glass and plastic are just a waste on the car. Clarkson states that the handling of the car is not up to the mark.

Nissan GT-R Track Edition

The standard Nissan GT-R is a five-star car and one of the best in the world; however, Clarkson rates the track abomination gives it a 'no star' at all.

He finds the handling and driveability hard and has no direction. Clarkson goes on say that twice in an hour he had an accident due to sudden and unexpected changes in direction.

Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI

Jeremy Clarkson's love for cars started 35 years ago with Maserati and a serious relationship with the Ford Cortina 1600E; however, the Volkswagen Scirocco which cemented his love for cars.

Now, after 35 years, he was unsure if this will bring back the same feelings as it did. He was disappointed, though, from the engine noise to the ‘bootful' of revs required to get the diesel mill going.

Hyundai i800

The sarcasm from Jeremy Clarkson is good enough to know that the review of the car didn't go well. Then you give the Hyundai i800, he calls it "The Hyundai i800 is worse than that parasite that burrows into children's eyes."

Clarkson states that Hyundai knows how to build cars; however, with the i800 he seems unimpressed calling it boring, slow and, ugly and awful.
