The Japanese police have unveiled heir new anti-drone weapon of choice — a drone carrying a net. The net carrying drone is a response to attack on the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe using a drone in April.
The Japanese 5-O decided to make a drone squad of their own to combat the drone menace. The drone squad will drive through an area scanning the air for drones and if one is found, the cops will use loudspeakers on the ground to tell the drone's operator to land it immediately. However, if the person does not comply, the police drone will fly out and net them.
