Honda Dealership Employees Arrested For Cheating
Four Honda dealership employees have been arrested on account of cheating, and the fifth employee is on the run. The employees were accused of selling discontinued cars at MRP, and split the discount money among themselves.
The names of the accused who have been arrested are Nalin Karwal, Raj Kumar, Neeraj Bansal, and Navnit Dhawan, all working with M/s Frontier Vehicles Private Limited, Badshapur. The complaint against the employees was filed by Kamal Singh, the company's General Manager.
The fifth suspect who is on the run is Raj Kumar Das, and police is looking for him. In the police complaint, Singh said "The men would take approval for special discount on cars. They were given Rs. 20,000-50,000 discount on each vehicle, but in some cases, they didn't pass it on to customers. From November 2015 to May 2016, they cheated the firm of over Rs. 3 lakh."
The five accused have been booked under sections 420 (cheating) and 408 (criminal breach of trust by clerk or servant) of the IPC.
