Villagers Use Hairdryers To Troll Speed Demons
People decided to take the law into their hands after motorists kept ignoring the speed limit.
Desperate residents of Hopeman in Scotland, a tiny village, have turned to using hairdryers as pretend speed guns to scare speeding drivers.

Some of the residents put on fluorescent jackets and pointed the nozzles of the hairdryers at the road from their gardens to mimic police with speed guns. It follows concern about cars reaching speeds of up to 100km/h as they travel through the area.
Ladders have been put up to allow children safe passage between back gardens instead of braving through the road, which has a 48km/h speed limit.
Councillor Dennis Slater, who lives in Hopeman and represents the Heldon and Laich ward, said the unique idea shows how extreme the situation is. He said: "The speeding is just outrageous and we've been working closely with the police who have been doing their best."
He further added "But the locals have taken the law into their own hands. It's gotten to the point where you see kids standing at the side of the road with hairdryers."
"It's a desperate measure that the local people and children are taking. They are putting on on hi-vis jackets and mimicking speed cameras with hairdryers."
He also said that they have an action group set up and the children are getting involved as well. And he thinks it highlights the message they are trying to get out about speeding.
We strongly believe that driving fast should be restricted to racetracks and not on public roads. Take a look at the Mercedes-AMG powered GT R,it screams power and speed, which can be tested in a controlled environment. Below is an extensive photo gallery, click to view.
