Google's New Robot Is The Stuff Of Nightmares — Is This The Future Of War?
Google's new robot is considered nightmare-inducing by its own creator.
Google-owned Boston Dynamics has revealed its latest robot, and it is according to its creator the stuff of nightmares.
Handle, is the name given to the two-wheeled four-legged, robot that can jump over obstacles, rolls down steps, jumps over barriers and onto tables achieving jump heights we usually see NBA players go for a dunk.
Handle is speedy and strong as well with the wheels on its lower legs allowing it to sprint to speeds of 14.5km/h. Its spindly upper legs can carry weights of up to 45 kilogrammes with ease.
However, what makes Handle terrifying is that Boston Dynamics makes its robots for the US Military. Terrorists will start to have Star Wars flashbacks (if they've ever watched the movies that are. Otherwise they'll just run away in fear) if they ever find themselves on the opposite side of this bad boy on the battlefield of the future with a machine gun and some other heavy machinery.
Want to get rid of the nightmarish video from above, then click on the images of the rather cutesy new 2017 Maruti Swift to bring a smile back to your face.
