Gold Plated ‘Godzilla’ Nissan GT-R On Display In Dubai
Dubai is known for its flamboyance when it comes to its cars, now, at an auto show, a Nissan GT-R is customised with the precious metal and the car is worth $1 Million.
Nissan R35 GT-R car which is fully customised with gold plating in collaboration between Artis, Kuhl Racing which is on display at Automechanika Dubai 2016. The gold paint covers the entire car with engravings which are done elegantly by master engraver Takahiko Izawa.
The Nissan R35 GT-R is powered by 3.8-litre V6 twin turbo 545bhp, but this car is bit more than that, it has been souped up with an additional power of 820 bhp. It is backed by 6-speed sequential dual clutch gearbox and these can be changed with paddle shifters.
The GT-R is not just about the looks, it has the power to match its regal look and can 'bling' some of the fast supercars in town.
Little more of the gold plated Nissan GT-R is that the shell is of fiberglass and then the master engraver did his signature engravings to form the detailed design of the entire supercar.
Once the engraving was completed, a chrome cost was done before the gold paint job completed the look of the car.
Nissan GT-R will be launched in India between the month of May or June and the expected price tag is Rs. 1.60 to 1.90 crores. The India-spec GT-R will be powered by 3.8-litre engine churning out 542bhp and 612Nm of torque and power will be sent all the four wheels. The Nissan GT-R can go from 0 - 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
