Five-Acres, A Junkyard And 340 Vintage Cars For Sale — A Car Collector's Dream Property?
40 years worth of car collecting up for grabs, the owner has lost count, but guesses approximately 340 vintage vehicles will be part of the deal.
A real estate agent has a deal that his advertisement terms it as a lifetime opportunity that is ideal for the vintage auto enthusiast who loves to work and live in a beautiful area.
For nearly $1.45 million (approx. Rs 9.50 crore), the lucky buyer gets the property region for auto salvage, 900-square-foot restoration shop, a renovated house, a 1,200-square-foot steel building and enough steel beams and timbers to build 8,000 square feet of carpeted space.
Oh, and he'll offer more than 340 vintage vehicles which he values the cars and trucks at anywhere from $500 to $35,000 (approx. Rs 35,000 to Rs 2.30 lakh) each.
Some of the vintage cars include the rare 1927 Ford Model T truck, a 1947 Mercury Ute imported from Australia, and a restored 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle with a 396-cubic-inch big block V8 engine paired to a 4-speed manual gearbox?
Owner Mike Hall, 60, says that he has been collecting cars all of his life. For the last 40 years, Hall has bought vehicles all across Canada.
"I started accumulating cars when I was 20. First, it was 50 cars. Then the collection grew to 100. I bought more and more. It's easy to buy them when you're working. It's like an addiction. With 100 cars, 200 seemed better, and now it's well past 300," Hall said.
Evidently, the highway rock scaler's wife put a stop on his collecting habit and directed he stops using their organic farm as a parking lot.
"Everyday, I'm torn about selling the property with the cars. I'm still buying cars. It's like a sickness that I'm not getting over," Hall said.
