Ferrari has unveiled the Gran Premio Worldtime Automatico Limited Edition Watch, which is developed by Ferrari Styling Centre. The limited edition watch is limited to just 300 units and is part of the Fall/Winter 2015 collection.
The Gran Premio Worldtime Automatico draws inspiration from the Ferrari FXX and is priced at USD 1,585 (Rs. 1.05 lakh). The watch consists of 256 elements, customised specifically for Scuderia Ferrari watches.
The watch is rendered by carbon fibre, a material that was extensively used first in the Ferrari FXX. The black dial with red accents resembles the actual car's chassis bolts. The unique city time zone display highlights Maranello, and ten famous Grand Prix race locations: Melbourne, Sepang, Barcelona, Silverstone, Singapore, Suzuka, Sochi, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, and Abu Dhabi.
Flip the watch on its back, and the transparent case reveals a black custom rotor, which reminds us of a brake caliper. What makes this watch exclusive is that every example comes with a custom designed box, with a collector's plaque.
