An Ultra rare used Ferrari is up for sale for a mind-numbing price tag of $1,699,900 (Rs. 11.37 Crore).
The car in question is one of the 80 examples of the Ferrari 599 SA Aperta, which is till date the most exclusive supercar ever built by the Italian carmaker.
The 599 SA Aperta was built to celebrate the 80th birthday of Pininfarina (which is now owned by Mahindra) and the letters S and A, in the name, were to honour designers Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina. The word Aperta is Italian for Open.
Powering the SA Aperta was the same 6.3-litre, V12 from the insane 599 GTO. The naturally aspirated V12 produced 661bhp and 620Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic gearbox which takes just 120 milliseconds to complete a downshift.
The 599 SA Aperta can sprint from 0–100km/h in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 325 kilometres an hour.
The car up for sale at Experience Auto Group in Plainview, New York is said to be in pristine condition and comes with a full-service history. What makes it even more desirable is the fact that it has only covered 1,540 kilometres. The car is painted in Avio Met light blue and features a Sabbia leather interior.
