Fast And Furious - Supercharged Ride Planned At Universal Studios
Car enthusiasts and hardcore fans of the seemingly unending movie franchise Fast and Furious will soon be able to experience the excitement and adrenaline rush from the movie in real life through a theme park ride being planned.
Universal Studios Hollywood in California is planning to start a new ride based on the Fast and Furious movie called "Fast and Furious - Supercharged". The planned attraction will be a high-definition, 3D feature inside a 50,000 square-foot structure.
Visitors to the park will be seated in the Studio Tour tram and the experience will be brought to life through hydraulic motion carriage and visuals displayed on the surrounding 360-degree screen.
"Our collaboration with Universal Pictures to bring this franchise to life through epic storytelling and technological breakthroughs continues to be a hallmark of Universal Studios Hollywood," said Mark Woodbury, president of Universal Creative, as reported by LATimes
The "Fast and Furious - Supercharged" ride is part of a 25 year, $2.3 billion plan to expand the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park. The ride will be opened a few months after the seventh Fast and Furious movie is released in April, 2015.
