As Cars 3 prepares for its release on June 16, Pixar has revealed the full voice cast from the film along with a new poster. Like the prequels, Lightning McQueen will be voiced by Owen Wilson and Cristela Alonzo will voice the character of Cruz Ramirez.
The antagonist of the film, Jackson Storm, will be voiced by Armie Hammer. The most interesting part is, three-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton will play Hamilton, a voice-command system enlisted by Cruz Ramirez to help Lightning McQueen on the race track.
Along with Hamilton, many newcomers will also star in Car 3, including Kerry Washington who will voice Natalie Certain as well as Lea DeLaria who will play Miss Fritter, a "local legend at the Thunder Hollow Speedway demolition derby."
The movie will be based on McQueen's return to racing in an attempt to dethrone the rookie sensation Storm. Cristela Alonzo, a long-time friend, and trainer of McQueen helps the veteran return to the racing world.
The third installment in the Cars franchise is being directed by Brian Fee, and the movie is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2017.
