Extensively Customised Pontiac Trans Am For Sale — Any Takers?
Car customisation has come a long way these days and every single part, be it from a body panel to bolts can be customised to suit individual preference. Tha is the case with this Pontiac Trans Am, customised by an Iranian Immigrant.
The car has been modified extensively. The car started off as a regular Trans Am which was purchased for USD 40,000 back in 2004. The owner wanted to make the car special and decided to change the colour first. He decided to go with gold.
Later, the owner was not satisfied with the paint and decided to apply real gold leaves to the body. Then he realised that too was not enough and placed Swarovski crystals on it. The car has also been tuned and even won an award back in 2009.
The whole transformation process took 5 years in the making and now the owner wants to sell it and has listed the car on Mobile.de, one of Europe's largest used vehicle selling website. The reason nobody wants this car, may be because of the extensive custom work and it could be the asking price as well - USD 3.7 million (Rs. 24.97 crore)!
