NRI Crashes Scorpio Into Wagah Border Gates
A NRI from Canada tried to cross the border gates at Wagah in a Mahindra Scorpio, earlier today morning.
According to a senior BSF official, the driver said he wanted to pay obeisance at Nankana Sahib in Pakistan, but thought obtaining a visa and going through other formalities would take time. Pakistani papers like the Dawn claim that he managed to smash into the Pakistani border gate
The driver was taken into custody following the incident by Border Security Forces (BSF) officials who also have custody of the vehicle used.
Following the incident, the Pakistani Rangers wrote a letter to the Border Security Forces (BSF) seeking an inquiry into the breach of security.
DriveSpark wonders what the arrested bloke was trying to do? Surely, there are other ways of seeking closer relations with the neighbors.
