Small Change Makes Manic BMW M4 GTS Even More Mental
A small change can lead to some rather extraordinary results, something a BMW owner found out when he swapped the stock mid-pipes on his M4 GTS, for a custom set.
The owner of the M4 GTS just wanted a better sound out of his exhaust along with a tiny bit more power, however, his 'small' change may have just turned the madness level of the manic M4 GTS up to 11.
The tuned M4 GTS now produces 483.2 bhp (490hp) at the wheels, which when you account for the 10 percent transmission loss, comes to around 532.6bhp (540hp) being produced by the engine. A 'normal' M4 GTS produces just 493bhp. The torque figure has also gone up from 600Nm to 748Nm (680 Nm at the wheels).
